Where automation actually helps

Most small businesses lose hours every week to the same handful of repetitive tasks. The useful win is not a flashy AI demo. It is getting one repeat task handled reliably so you have more time for customers and real decisions.

Common automations we build

  • Sorting and tagging incoming customer enquiries
  • Extracting fields from PDFs, scans and forms
  • Drafting follow-up emails for human review
  • Organising attachments and tagging files by client or matter
  • Summarising long documents or meeting notes into action items
  • Generating recurring internal reports from spreadsheets or systems
  • Light admin or user screens to make automations safe to use day-to-day

Our approach

We start with a short process review, usually a single call plus a follow-up, to map where your time goes. From there we shortlist the few automations with the strongest payoff and build one as a working prototype. If it proves useful, we can expand from there.

What we won't do

We won't automate something that's safer left to a human, build a system that hides what it's doing, or recommend a six-figure platform when a careful workflow would do. We design with "human in the loop" by default for anything customer-facing or risk-sensitive.

How we price it

Every automation project is different, so we scope and price each one individually after a free 30-minute discovery call. Straightforward single-workflow builds are priced to suit small businesses. More complex or multi-workflow projects are quoted once we understand the full picture.

There are no ongoing licence fees from us, you pay only for the third-party services your automation actually uses (e.g. AI model API usage), at cost.

A few example scenarios

What this might look like for a small business.

An adviser's enquiry inbox

Incoming enquiries are sorted into "new lead", "existing client" and "spam", tagged with the product type, and a draft reply is suggested for human review before sending.

A trades business' job paperwork

Job sheets and supplier invoices are pulled from email, key fields extracted, and a weekly summary lands in the owner's inbox every Friday afternoon.

A small consultancy's reporting

Time entries from a spreadsheet are turned into a monthly client report draft, formatted, summarised, and ready for a final review.

Not sure if automation makes sense yet?

A 30-minute discovery call is the fastest way to find out. We'll point out what's worth automating, and just as importantly, what isn't.
